“Are Google’s AI Ethics Principles Just Window Dressing?”
I think Google AI principles are mainly aspirational and more just window dressing. When reading this article, I did not get reassurance if they are responsible for the deployment of their search engine having to do with AI. Through a skeptical lens I think, "Is my information safe?" Through casual reading I mainly felt motivated and hyped to use their product when they say their principle brings collaborative progress and bold innovation. The website only has google themselves as the credibility instead of other peoples feedback stated. When UNESCO’s AI ethics report I felt they were more enforceable and measurable. With them stating, “ The Observatory showcases information about the readiness of countries to adopt AI ethically and responsibly.
