    Chico Ca is a small town in Northern California known mostly as a college town and home to many locals. This city is home to California State University, Chico and one thing all colleges have in common is the need to run off caffeine, most importantly coffee. With super cold winters or extremely hot summer days there is always a perfect time to grab a drink with friends. Whether it is a morning coffee run or grabbing an energy drink before studying. On average "92 percent of college students drink coffee, and 79 percent of said coffee-drinkers use caffeine to stay awake " stated by, Mishaal Ijaz. Being a college town brings many people of all ages and diversity to the area so the variety of places to stop for coffee are endless.

    Even without tourism there is so much spiritedness in Chico to keep these coffee shops from going out of business. This town is small so most cafes are accessible within a 10-minute walk. One of the many great things about going to the local coffee shop around the corner is being able to ride a bike or go outside to catch some air. It is just as simple that anyone can do it including workers, teachers, young adults and teenagers from the local high schools around, (not just being limited to the college students).
