Tin Roof is located 627 Broadway St #170, Chico, CA 95928. They are in the downtown area of Chico and about a 10-minute walk from campus (Chico State University). Their hours are from 7am- 3 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7am-8pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and 7am-2pm on Sundays.

 

About Them

Tin Roof values fresh, local ingredients. They have a variety of beverages and food to choose from. At Tin Roof they have a full production bakery, Café, and catering kitchen where they prepare everything daily.

 

When entering this Café, I found it to be a nice area. I like how it was in the downtown area but had a parking lot, so you aren’t worried about finding parking or paying for it. The outside has a patio which is nice on warmer days. The inside is nice and spacious, I love how there are lots of windows to let light into the building. Besides just chairs they also have a couch you can sit on to socialize with friends. Along the walls they have local art you can purchase which I thought was a nice touch. I love the aesthetic of this café. It gives earthy vibes while staying somewhat modern.

 The Menu

Tin roof serves a variety of beverages. I love that on the side when you’re ordering they include a list of all the syrups they have. Some coffees they serve but aren’t limited to are Espressos, Americanos, Gibraltar, Cappuccinos, Lattes, Mochas, and Macchiatos. Some specialty coffees are their Huckleberry rose late, Mexican mocha, and the lav chai with matcha foam. The pricing is reasonable being $4-7$ a beverage, so I would give them a try if you’re feeling thirsty in the downtown area.
